Two Tiny Hummers

 Once there was a tiny nest with two tiny eggs inside.

The mother of these eggs watched after these eggs carefully and kept them warm. Finally her hard work was paid off and the tiny eggs hatched. Two tiny baby hummingbirds emerged into the big
world.



And the little birds grew

















 And grew

And grew a little more

Bigger

And bigger!

Then things started to get a little crowded in that little nest of theirs


















Really crowded

So one of the two tiny birds decided to leave the nest and make his own way in the world


















The one that stayed behind got lonely in that little nest all by himself, so he left too.

 The little nest was now empty. But there is an interesting thing about mother hummingbirds. They sometimes use their nest again. :)


So there you have it. The story of the little hummers in my backyard. And guess who I saw at the hummingbird feeder I just put up?
